About Jackie

Jackie attended Biola University, where she captained the women’s golf team and was named assistant coach after graduation. Jackie knew her calling was in golf instruction as she moved on to join Goose Creek Golf Club as an assistant golf professional and also an instructor at the Lorena Ochoa Junior Golf Academy. Jackie is currently enrolled in the PGA of America apprentice program and teaching at Newport Beach Golf Club.

Jackie feels her college player and coaching experience can benefit junior golf students, and their parents, as they navigate the path to a college golf career. Her knowledge of golf scholarship and her scouting and recruiting experience may assist families to gain a clearer understanding about college golf, making Jackie more than just a golf instructor.

If you are new to the game or playing at the highest level, Jackie is committed and eager to be a part of your team for success.

Jackie’s Teaching Philosophy

Jackie’s teaching philosophy includes building a solid instructor-student relationship to develop team goals. Golf is an individual sport yet you often hear top amateur and Tour Professionals reference “their team” when talking about their successes. Jackie wants to learn a players goals and expectations, their likes and dislikes, physical limitations, etc., to develop a program specific to each person. Since no one player is the same, golf instruction should not be a one-dimensional experience.

Jackie promotes a practice with a purpose philosophy keeping the lesson simple and fresh. Improved short game play and adopting a good course management plan is the fastest way to lower scores. Building a strong relationship on the practice area or an on-course playing lesson, Jackie is motivated and committed to helping you play the best golf of your life…

What clients say about Jackie

“Coach Jackie has a keen eye and simple approach to instruction. At our conference championship she walked with me, shared positive thoughts and we strategized on my course management. I was calm under pressure and finished with the lowest tournament round of my college career!”Jasmine R. – Biola Women’s Golf
“I miss my favorite golf coach she is the bomb! Coach Jackie thank you for making me the player I am today.” Nia F. - Lorena Ochoa Junior Academy
“Coach Jackie was a great help during my junior golf days. We had a stretch where we would play 18-36 holes 1-2 times per week working on our numbers. Jackie keeps it simple and fun!” Malia E. – University of Hawaii Golf
I have been playing golf for 3 years at Goose Creek Golf Course in Mira Loma, CA. When I was just starting golf, I was trying to see if I love the sport. When I met coach Jackie, she inspired me and encouraged me to continue playing and not to give up. She was always there for me, encouraging me and supporting me every step of the way. I learned to love the sport because she believed in me and in turn, I became better at the sport and learned to believe in myself.Nina F.
